Are specimens ethically sourced?
As a business we try to be as ethical as possible however due to suppliers not stating their processes we are unable to guarantee that 100% of our specimens are ethically sourced. From speaking to some of our suppliers we have been informed that they tend to use breeding farms which are known as an ethical source when collecting specimens. Due to the amount of suppliers we source from, everyone sources their specimens differently and a variety of ways also include registered breeders, farms (as mentioned above), researchers and sometimes collected (legally) after death from local areas. All specimens sourced are legal to buy, sell and own within Australia. 

Do you do custom orders?
Yes ! Custom orders are most definitely welcome, please message us on social media or via email to see what we can do. 

What should I consider when purchasing preserved pieces?
Our pieces are preserved with great care and consideration but there are still a few factors to consider when displaying our frames/jars. All pieces can be affected by light and humidity so ensure they are not positioned in direct sunlight or humid areas such as a bathroom as this can cause them to fade and also allow moisture to get into the frames/jars and cause moulding to occur. Another thing to consider is the unlikely chance of attracting pests, it is possible for small speckle like book lice to attract to the preserved specimens, if you do notice this in your pieces, pop them into the freezer for approximately 3 or more days to allow any live lice to die off, repeat this process again to kill off any unhatched eggs that may not be visible. What is the cost of shipping? 
The cost of shipping is determined by the weight of your order. This will be shown at checkout. 

Do you ship internationally? 
Unfortunately we only ship AUSTRALIA WIDE at the moment, we are looking to expand in the future. 

How long does shipping take? 
Due to current demands shipping is unpredictable, it usually takes 5 - 10 days for Standard or 2 - 7 days for Express. Although given these time frames it may very depending on demand. Once the parcel is with Australia Post we do not take responsibility for any further delays that are out of our control. 

Am I able to change the colour of the frame of my order? 
Majority of our frames are interchangeable, so if you would like the frame to be changed to one of our other available colours please leave a note in your order or message us on social media or via email to see if it is available to be changed. Please note, not all frames can be changed so please try to contact us before ordering.

I have entered my address incorrectly, what do I do? 
If you notice that you have provided us with incorrect shipping details, please contact us immediately via social media or email (preferable) to have the matter resolved. Unfortunately, if the order has already been shipped we are no longer accountable, in this case you will have to make contact with Australia Post directly.
